Position Requirements

The Governing Board seeks a highly energetic education professional who has a background in teaching and educational leadership. The successful candidate will possess the skills necessary to continue the District’s commitment to excellence while focused on improvement of service and outcomes.

Requirements of Applicants

Current Arizona Superintendent’s Certificate held or have applied for at the time of application
Teaching experience in a public school system
Five years’ experience as a school principal or district administrator
Master’s Degree from an accredited university

Glendale Union High School District has engaged the services of the Arizona School Administrators Association to direct a search for qualified candidates. Each candidate/finalist will visit the district at his/her expense to be interviewed by the Governing Board. Governing Board members may visit the communities of selected candidates as part of the final selection process. To receive consideration, an applicant’s file must be completed and filed with ASA by 5:00 PM Arizona time, February 7, 2025. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
